Hydro-rehabilitation, also known as hydrotherapy or aquatic therapy, is a form of rehabilitation that uses the therapeutic properties of water to promote recovery and physical function in animals and humans. Hydrotherapy provides a variety of benefits due to the special physical properties of water, such as buoyancy, hydrostatic pressure, resistance and thermal conductivity.
